Sergio Grasso (born Venice, 11 November 1955) is an Italian food-anthropologist, food-writer, voice-artist, playwright and filmmaker. ==Career== Grasso is well known, all over Italy, under the nickname "The Gastrosopher",〔("The Gastrosopher" )〕 he received thanks to his numerous TV appearances, in the last 15 years, on the most popular TV programs of the RAI〔RAI〕 television network (such as: Linea Verde,〔(Linea Verde )〕 Rai Unomattina,〔(Rai Unomattina )〕 "La Prova del Cuoco")〔("La Prova del Cuoco" ))〕 focused on food, gastronomy and cookery. Professor of "Sensory Analysis", "Ethnofood" and "Social History of Food", Grasso taught "History and Evolution of Taste" at the University of Teramo and many post-graduate Masters of Marketing for food, agriculture and tourism education. Grasso teaches Food-Anthropology at the Etoile Academy〔(Etoile Academy )〕 in Tuscany. Grasso was the food anthropologist coordinator for the Italian National Institute of Mountaineering.〔(Italian National Institute of Mountaineering )〕 Grasso outlined the organic diet of the "K2 - 2004"〔(K2 - 2004 ) 〕 expedition on the Himalayas.
